AWARD-WINNING FOOD AT YOUR LOCAL GASTROPUB

Built as a coaching inn over 300 years ago The Lower New Inn was originally called The New Inn, the name was changed in the late 19th century.

Fast forward to 2018 and the old coaching inn has been given a new lease of life by owners Dayne Watkins & Curtis Lewis – their ethos is to create a unique experience different to other pubs in the area, “all of our produce is locally sourced where possible – we also like to pride ourselves on offering a warm Welsh welcome”.

We are lucky enough to be situated in an area where fresh produce is easily accessible – it’s not difficult for us to create a menu with 100% British produce – all of our meats, dairy, fruit and vegetables are bred or grown on British soil and the fish we use is sustainably caught off the shores of our beautiful island.

Eat Together

Every plate achieves that elusive, cuisine-defining balance of sweet, salty, and sour — even dessert.
